Th1rteen R3asons WhyNow, I should be reading The Secret Life of Bees and Farenheit 451, but this new book I got is too good to just put down. Also, I want to recommend it to others.
The title of this journal is the exact title of this book and I want to give you a brief synopsis of it.
~Hannah Baker is a highschool freshman who recently commited suicide. After her death, 13 people who she sent a box to. The box was full of old cassette tapes numbered all the way to 13. Each person who received a tape was in some way responsible for her decision to commit suicide.
Clay Jensen has gotten one of these packages and he listens to Hannah's voice recalling all the reasons on the tapes, trying to figure out how he caused Hannah to end her life...
This book is something I hope many people, especially those in the teens, reads this book. It shows how even the smallest of actions could snowball into having a deadly consequence.
